I actually bought myself a copy from a local store. On the cover, it said it was only going to be on the shelf until Dec. 16, 2016. So I immediately bought it and it was well worth the money. Not only does it tell us about the main countries involved in the Pacific Campaign (Japan, UK, USA, China..) but it also goes into details about the Imperial Japanese occupation in the Philippines. I knew the Japanese had invaded most of the pacific islands but i never really knew the gritty details of their actions while occupying those islands including the Samoan island. It also talks about the UK's involvement in South-East Asia. And briefly talks about how the U.K. and Gurka (some bad mofos) troops fought the Japanese in Burma. The pictures are just amazing. I love the map that shows how the Russians enter Japanese held territories in China and Korea. They listed key personnel that played a huge role in the war effort. Although, in my opinion, every Allied troop played a heroic role during WW2. Sorry, Axis. It's definitely a must grab.
